  • Introduction: Fan Chuifan loves Chinese painting, especially peonies and grapes. In 1999, Fan Chuifan got positively honored by a world-renowned Chinese painter, Meng Yonglao, when he wrote the word "Grape Fairy" on his painting. "There is the legacy of Yan Liben, the charm of Mi Fu, the artistic conception of Tang Yin, the chrysanthemum nature of Wu Changshuo..." From the preface by Mr. Meng Lao. The works of Mr. Fan, who has been influenced by the best of other renowned artists and does not stick to tradition, are unique, with vivid style, rigorous realism, free and easy. Bold, majestic, straightforward, and realistic. Mr. Fan is a well-known and accomplished artist. He has never publicized his achievements; he is humble and sincere, and a respectable scholar. He often says: "People who are engaged in fine arts, like ordinary people, must first know how to be a human being before they do arts. There will be no arts, without moral". Fan Chuifan passed away in April 2006.
  • Notable accomplishments: He has participated in many national and provincial art exhibitions and has won many awards. Mr. Fan's works have been published in provincial and municipal newspapers and magazines, and his work has been collected in books, including "The Chinese Calligraphy and Painting", "Mo Lin Zhen Appreciation", “Cross-Century Chinese Painting and Calligraphy” etc.
  • Professional memberships and appointments: Mr. Fan was a member of the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Art Research Association and a member of the editorial board of famous works of modern Chinese painting and calligraphy. He is also a member of the Liaoning Provincial Artists Association.

Painting Description: "Dunhuang Feitian" is derived from the Buddhist tradition. Some of the gods that were transformed into "heavens" such as "Brahma", "Merchant Virtue Heaven", "Good Talent Heaven", and the like. Feitian is mostly painted in Buddhist grotto murals. Taoism refers to mythological figures who have emerged and ascended into the sky as "xian", such as "leading immortal", "tian xian", "barefoot big immortal"., in general, all heavenly deities who can fly are known as "fei xian".
