Introduction: Liu is a professor emeritus of Shenyang Normal University. She is prolific and known as one of the best among contemporary female painters. She has been featured on various national, international media and written technical books for Rongbaozhai publishing house and Liaomei press. Her work has been recognized, awarded, and indexed as a "national treasure" by the Chinese department of culture.
Notable accomplishments: Liu's notable works include: "New Mustard Seed Garden Painting Biography/Shui Clan·Fish" (Renmeisha), "Famous Flower and Bird Painting Art" " (Liaomei News Agency), "National Plum Orchid, Bamboo and Chrysanthemum Chinese Painting Collection", "Lan Juan", "Zhu Juan" (Tianmei Society), "Chinese Painting Peony Painting Library Series" (Hebei Meishe), "Chinese Painter" and other professional publications.
Professional memberships and appointments: Currently, Liu is a researcher at the Shenyang Museum of Literature and History, judge of the Fifth International Children's Art Exhibition in Kanagawa, Japan, Liaoning Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, member of the fifth, sixth, and seventh sessions of the CPPCC.
