  • Introduction: Liu Yongxu was born in 1937 in Yushan County, Jiangxi Province. He is a professor and a researcher at the Shenyang Municipal Museum of Literature and History and the Central Academy of Calligraphy and Painting. He has held many painting exhibits both at home and abroad; he has won many awards. He has published dozens of books about his painting collections, essays, painting techniques, etc.
  • Professional memberships and appointments: Liu is a member of the Chinese Artists Association. He is the director of China Tongze Academy of Calligraphy and Painting, the vice president of China Academy of Calligraphy and Painting Art, the vice-chairman of Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Artists Association, and a consultant to the Chinese Academy of Calligraphy and Painting in Tokyo, Japan. He was a director of the China Art Teaching Research Association, a member of the 5th, 6th, and 7th sessions of the Liaoning Province Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and a judge of the Kanagawa International Children's art exhibition in Japan.
