Introduction: Wang is a master oil painter and currently teaches at the Academy of Fine Arts of Tsinghua University. He has also made outstanding contributions to the Sino-Russian art exchanges. Because of his contributions in the academic field and Sino-Russian exchanges, Dr. Wang Tieniu received the title of an honorary doctorate from the Russian Repin Academy of Fine Arts.
Notable accomplishments: He was selected for the first China Oil Painting Exhibition, participated in the creation of the panoramic paintings "Conquer Jinzhou" and "Staining the River Banks and Annihilation". The editor-in-chief of the journal published several volumes that included works from outstanding students of the Russian Repin Academy of Fine Arts.
Professional memberships and appointments: He is an honorary member of the China Literary Volunteers Association and has won the honorary title of "Most Beautiful Volunteer" in the national school Lei Feng volunteer service awarded by 16 departments including the Central Propaganda Department and the Central Civilization Office in 2020.

Painting Description: The concept of the unity of sky and man (universe and man) is an important element in Chinese culture. It has been elaborated by Confucianism, Taoism, and Buddhism. In Taoism and Taoism, the sky refers to universe, nature and the way of heaven. The unity of man and nature refers to the state where man and the Tao are one. When man and nature are in harmony, this refers to harmony between Tao and man, and between man and everything else.
